Designed for older, less experienced swimmers who are not yet comfortable & confident in water where they cannot stand up...
We reserve private lessons for swimmers overcoming a particular obstacle, such as special abilities or a traumatic experience. We encourage group lessons for our swimmers as we find that peer influence in the class setting is most productive while learning...
This is a semi-private lesson option for any age range, we just require that the pair be similar in developmental state and swimming skill level so we can give both swimmers the attention they need...
The next step after kids learn how to swim, these groups continue to work on refining strokes and cultivating a love for swimming and competition. This program is broken into three different groups with specific skill development goals for each.
The Prep 1 group is our introductory tier of Competitive Team Prep for kids ages 4-7 years old.
The Prep 1+ group is our introductory tier of Competitive Team Prep for kids ages 7-11 years old.
These groups swim in our Competition Pool. Children looking to join Prep 1 or Prep 1+ should have some understanding of freestyle and backstroke form.
Skill development goals include:

Swimmers in this group should be comfortable swimming in water that they cannot stand in.
SWIMMER / COACH RATIO 6:1
PRACTICE LENGTH: 40-MINUTES, ONCE PER WEEK
The Prep 2 group is our middle tier of Competitive Team Prep. Group sizes will be no more than 10 swimmers. Practices will be twice a week for 40-minutes.
This group swims in our Competition Pool. Children looking to join Prep 2 should be able to breathe to the side on freestyle; swim good backstroke for at least 15 yards; understand the very basics of breaststroke and butterfly.
Skill development goals include:

SWIMMER / COACH RATIO 10:1
PRACTICE LENGTH: 40-MINUTES, TWICE PER WEEK
Prep 3 is our top tier of the Competitive Team Prep group. Group sizes will be no more than 20 swimmers. Practices will be twice a week for 40-minutes.
This group swims in our Competition Pool. Children looking to join Prep 3 should demonstrate proficiency in freestyle and backstroke, and be able to swim at least 4 cycles of breaststroke and butterfly.
